KEY EARLY LEARNING CENTER

FAQS ABOUT MY IN-HOME CENTER
Answers You Need
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?
I have been teaching in child care centers since 2013 with children ranging from infants to school agers. Even before working with children professionally, I would volunteer my time in classrooms and would babysit children in my community. I have worked with nonprofits and private schools. My dream has been to open my own in-home center and work my way up to a small stand alone center with a location of it's own and I am now fortunate enough to make it come true.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CHILDREN YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF AT ONCE?
As a licensed large in-home center, I am a able to take care of up to 12 children with an assistant. Currently, I will only be serving 8 children until I have a consistent assistant. In the near future I will have another qualified teacher ready to work with me and the children to provide access to quality care for more families.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN TUITION?
Included in my rates are monthly material and supplies fees, a KELC shirt for your child for outings, a water bottle, up to four nutritiously balanced meals daily, weekly lesson plans individualized for each child, in-time access to their child's daily activities, and most field trip fees are also included in tuition.
MY BABY NEEDS TO GO TO THE DOCTOR. CAN YOU TAKE HER?
If your child is in need of emergency services, we will quickly call EMS (Emergency Medical Services) and make every effort to call you at the time of the incident while providing care until EMS arrives.
CAN YOU COOK VEGAN FOOD FOR MY CHILD?
After discussing all dietary needs and requests of the children upon enrollment, I will make any reasonable adjustments to the menu that is needed for all children to receive healthy and nutritiously balanced meals. Parents and guardians are also welcome to provide their own healthy meals to meet their needs.
DO YOU ACCEPT TUITION ASSISTANCE?
Yes, I do offer a few CCCAP slots in my program to offer high quality care for members of the community in need. I am also enrolled as a UPK (Universal Preschool) Provider. I am also looking into participating in the military tuition assistance program for local military families.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING ON MY CHILD'S FIRST DAY?
I ask that you bring a blanket and lovey (if needed) for nap, a change of clothes, diapers/ pull-ups, wipes, pacifier for infants, preferred formula and bottles, and weather/ event appropriate clothes, socks, and shoes.
